Mrs. Bobby Holt, realized the old
finish on her kitchen cabinets
was downright dull and de

She got out her paint brush

pleasing and exciting place to
work.
Mrs. Holt told Mrs. Bonnie
Davis, home economics cxlcn-

pre oiut of redecorating my own
Kitchen. And I saved money by
doing the job myself.” ]

WAIT WORTH WHILE
.S;jm(Mimes you ave to wait
four or five yeai's to see a plan
‘become a ivaliiy. But the wait
is u&.ally worth while.
About four years ago, Jessie
Ann Wingo. home economics
extension agent, Cleveland coun
ty, helped a family draw plans
for remodeing their house.
'When they ' nally got around
to remodeling the kitchen, den
and bath, late last year, only a
few minor changes had to he
made on the original remodeling
plans.
The house, is close to 100 y 'ars
old, added the agent. And the
last remodeling had been done 30
or more years ago.
