The bride’s wedding gown was an Original design created of satin organza and Im ported Venlse tace posed over falUe taffeta. The empire lace bodice was fashioned with a yoke of English net outlined with lace scollops and topped with a scalloped lace Edwardian collar. Lace scollops circled the raised waistline. Long, fitted sleeves had lace points at the wrists. The A line skirt was finished with a wide hemline border of peau de sole banded with lace which extended around the Chapel length train. Her Chapel length veil of English tulle was caught to a matching Venlse lace Camelot cap and she carried a cascade of yellow and white roses with baby's breath. Miss Martha Stone of GsLStonia was her sister’s maid of honor and Mrs. Bill Stone of Kings Mountain, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Alta Chester of Salisbury, Miss Teresa Deal of Marlon, Mrs. Jeffrey Lyman of Decatur Qa.. sister of the bride groom, Mrs. Jon Eaker of CuUowhee, Mrs. Mike McDaniel of Kings Mountain and Miss MaUssa Wilson of Greenville, S. C. AU the attendants wore floor length dresses of mint green voile printed with sprays of tiny yellow flowers and styled with a scoop neckline outlined with a wide ruffle collar. The waistlines were suj- cented with a bias Insert Sind a sash that tied to a bow at the back with streamers. The gowns were enhtmced by softly gathered column skirts. They carried arrangements of football mums with greenery and baby’s breath. Participating In the wed ding as honorary at tendants were Mrs. Giles Beal of Lexington, Miss Sylvia Morris of Gastonia, Miss Kathy Turner of Gastonia, Miss Toni Mayfield of Hickory and Miss Sara Lyim DeBruler of Kings Mountain. Otis C. Falls. Jr. was I best man. Groomsmen wore Kenneth Falls of Kings Mountain, brother of the bridegroom; Jeffrey L^msui of Decatur, Ga., brother-in-law of the bride groom; BIU Stone of Kings Mountain, brother of the bride; Larry Deal of China Grove; David LeGrand of Shelby; BIU Hawkins of Rutherfordton; and Jon Eaker of (^owhee. Carla Ramsey of Kings Mountain was flower girl. Larry Stone, nephew of the bride, was rlngbearer. The bride’s parents entertained after the cere mony at a beautifully appointed reception In the Church FeUowshlp Hall. Mr. and Mrs. MenzeU Phifer greeted guests and assisting In receiving and entertaining were Mrs. Bob Ware, Miss Paulette Phifer, Mrs. Mamie Bell, Mrs. Mike Ware. Mrs. Buford Ware and Mrs. Jack Ware. The bride’s Uble highlight of decoration, was overiald with lace cloth and arranged with a candelabrum of candles and summer flowers. Punch was served from a silver service at one end of the Uble.
