East Oaeton football coach, Jerry Adams, was named chairman of the achedullng committee, which will now begin the tough task of drawing up a master schedule for the 1B77 season. The new conference will Include Kings Mountain, Shelby, Burns, Crest, Chase, R-S Central, East Rutherford, North Osuston, East Oaston and South Point. Cherryvllle and Bessemer City, which had been members of the league, have applied for admission Into another ccnference. The SWC’e application for membership as a 10- team league will be voted upon at a meeting at the NCHSAA board of controls In December. All SB schools In the WNCHSAA voted to disband their aHoclatlfn last month and seek ai- mlaalcn to the NCHSAA, which Includes over BOO schools. KMCC Golf Banquet The annual Kings Moun tain Country Club club championship golf tourna ment banquet will be held tonight at T:S0 at the club. All golfers who plan to attend the fete and who have not made reaerva- tlona are asked to do so by calling the club. Highlight of the banquet will be presentation of trophies to the winners and showing of the IBTS Maa- ters ’Tournament.
