Nativity Scene Was Favorite In Christmas Decoration Contest
The NaUvlty scene, which
naturaUy lends Itself to an almost
endless variety of Interpretations
and a wealth of detaU, was a favorite
wbject of home decorators this
Qirlstmas season, and top winners
Ih'-the 1976 Christmas Decorating
Qmtest were original, combining
the spiritual meaning of the holiday
with candles, greenery, Santo Claus,
and carolers.

windows, Santa Claus at the front
door and a manger scene complete
with wise men and shepherds.
The doorway of the Howard
Jackson home, also a first place

highlight of their decoration and Is
framed In a Christmas card setting
by garlands at greenery, frosted
fruits, red bows and red apples In a
holiday wreath.
