AH proceeds from the momlng bridge party at 30:80, followed by a lun cheon and fashion show, and the dessert bridge party at 7:80 p. m. will benefit the 1077 Kings Moiaitaln Heart fund. Mary Anne (Mrs. Paul) Hsndrlcks, Jr., chairman of ttie benefit, said that reservations should be made with Jerry King at KM Country Club by Sat., Feb. 36th, and that aU players ai« asked to make iqi their own tables for bridge and bring their own cards. Spring fashions will be modeled by local women representing downtown department stores. Luncheon will be provided by the following Kings Mountain financial Institutions and busi nesses : First Cltlsens Bank A IVust Co., First Union National Bank, Home Savings A Loan Association, Kings Mmsitaln Savings A Loan Association, C. B. Warllck Insurance Agency and B. F. Maner Insurance Agency. IT’S A BOY Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Left- wlch of Kings Mountain announce the arrival of their second child, a son, Biyan Edmond Leftwich, February Bth, Cleveland Memorial Hospital, Shelby. The baby weighed seven pounds, 14 ounces. Bryqn Is grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Huff- stetler and Mrs. Evelyn Drewsa and the late Fred Drewes. Couple Honored Saturday After Wedding Rehearsal Miss Debbie Bolin and Mark George were honored after their wed ding rehearsal ^Saturday lUght at an atter-rehearsal party In the Fellowship HaU of David BapUst Church. Entertaining together were Mr. and Mrs. John George, Jr., parents of the future bridegroom, and Mr. and Mrs. Bart George, brother and sister-in-law of the bridegroom-to-be. A color motif of red and white featured decorative details and refreshments. Overlaid with red tablecloth, the refresh ment table was centered with a colorful bouquet of spring flowers. Sliver appointments held an assortment of open - faced sandwiches, sausage balls. ham biscuits, cheese straws, chocolate balls, flngeraookles, pecan tarts, and nAnlature fruit cakes. Pbik punch was served from asilver pimch bowl at one eAd of the table. A silver coffee service was used at the opposite end of the table. Debbie Bolin Honored At Bridesmaids Luncheon Miss Debbie Bolin, whose wedding to Mark George took pUce Sunday, was honored Saturday at a 1 p. m. bridesmaids lun cheon hosted by Miss Nancy Hord and Miss Bar bara Medlln at the Hord home on Cleveland Avenue. Assisting the hostesses In serving a three-course luncheon were their mothers, Mrs. D. F. Hord, Mrs. Bud Medlln and Miss Anne Hord. On their arrival, the 12 guests were Invited Into the den for hot punch. Miss Nancy Hord offered a wedding blessing as members of the bridal party were seated at three small tables set up In the living room.
