The couple pledged vowa of the double-ling cere mony before the Rev. Alvin Newcomb, of Troy, uncle of the bride. Bobby Caahlon waa organlat tar the program of nuptial mualc and vocal aelectlona were by Mra. Oarl Barnett who aang "Love Me Tender" before the ceremony and "Wed ding Prayer” aa the bene diction. The altar of the church waa decorated with Boaton tern enhanced by floor baaketa of white gladioli and white and yellow dalalee and wrought - Iron candelabra holding cathe dral tapera. A white prayer bench centered the eettlng. B. L. Pearaon eecorted hie daughter to the altar and gave her In marriage. The bride'a wedding gown waa a formal dealgn made by her mother of white polyester satin designed with empire waistline, Jeweled neckline and front and back yoke overlaid with BngUsh lace. Wide lace cuffs enhanced the puffed sleeves and a Chapel length train ex tended from gathered full ness at the back of the door-length akirt. She wore a fingertip veil of bridsil Illusion bordered with English lace and carried a white Bible topped with a bouquet of daisies. Mrs. Rlchsutl Stowe at tended her sister as ma tron of honor and brides maid waa Miss Clndl Blddlx. AlUson Barnett, cousin of the bride, was Sower girl. The three attendants wore yellow formals of polyester satin designed along empire lines with Jeweled necklines trimmed with dSLlsles. They carried bouquets of yellow and white dsdsles. Terry Henderson, cousin of the bridegroom, was beat man. Oroomamen were TTm Riddle and Richard Stowe, brother-in- law of the bride, both of Kings Mountain. After a wedding trip to OatUnburg, Tennessee, the newlyweds will be at home on Llnwood Road. BRIDE AND BRIDEGROOM Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Pear son of Kings Mountain are parents of the bride who la a 1078 grsuluate of Kings Mountain Senior High School and Is employed In the offices of TQAT Stores In Kings Mountain. The bridegroom, son of Mrs. Sue Henderson of Kings Mountain and the late Ambers Henderson, Is a 1976 graduate of KMSHS and la employed by Duke Power Company. CAKEOUTTINO After their wedding rehearsal, the biide-to-be and her future husband were entertained by the bride-to-be’s parents at a cakecutting in the Fellow ship Hall of East Gold Street Wesleyan Church. Assisting In entertaining were Mrs. Tommy Shytle, Mra. James Falls and Mrs. George Nolen, all aunts of the bride. Mrs. MUdred ShyUe, Lo- rena Falls and the mother of the bride made the daisy-decorated wedding cake, which was served with yellow punch and party refreshments. The bride’s table, highlight of decoration, waa overlaid with lace over yellow and held the bridal cake as decorative highlight.
