Degree successfully completed studies In retail sales and plans to make a career In that field. The center Is located In Morganfleld, Ky. DEATHS JANICE K. HimON Janice K. Hudson, 84, of Hlnesvllle, Qa., died Friday at her home. A native of Kings Moun tain, she Is survived by her husband. Dale Hudson of the home; one son, Todd of the home; her mother, Bessie M. West of Kings Mountain; and one brother, Donald West of Kings Mountain. Funeral services were held Sunday at 3 p. m. In HlnesvUle. WEBBA.MVRRAir Funeral services for Webb A. Murray, 73, of Hickory, N. C. were conducted Sunday at 8:80 p. m. at Highland United Methodist Church by the Rev. Charles Bruce. Inter ment was In Mays Chapel Church cemetery In Mr. Murray died Thurs., Mar. 81 In Hickory. He la survived by his wife, Mary Deese Murray; six brothers. Rev. Clyde Murray of Franklin, N. C., Fred Murray and Ray Murray, both of Marion. Rev. Curtis Murray of Gastonia, Boyer Murray of Kings Mountain, and Lamar Mtsriay of Malden, two slaters, Mrs. Ruey Thornburg of Kings Moimtaln, and Mrs. Lori Mae Mann of Forest City. GRADY PATTERSON Slineral servlcea for Ira Grady Patterson were held at 4 p. m. last Thursday at Boyce Memorial ARP Church by Dr. Charles E. Edwards. Burial was In Mountain Rest Cemetery. Patterson, 86, of 407 W. Gold St., died last Wed nesday at his home. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ira Patterson, he retired In 1067 as owner of Patterson Oil Company. He was an elder and trustee of Boyce Memorial ARP Church, a director of Home Savings and Loan Association and a charter member of the Kings Mountain Klwanls Club. He was on the board of trustees of the Bon CSarken Assembly Ground of the ARP Church In Flat Rock. Survivors are his widow, Willard Black Patterson; three daughters. Mrs. John Cheshire of Kings Mountain, Mrs. Martha Byrd of Charlotte and Mrs. Iris Thompson of Clemson, S. C.; two brothers, Dewitt Patterson of Kings Mountain and Ray Pat terson of Moultrie, Oa.; one sister, Mrs. Ellen Plonk of Kings Mountain; six grandchildren; and seven great- grandchlldren.
