A 1974 Chevy operated by Rodney Short, of 108 Benfleld Rd., collided with a schoolbus Monday on Phifer Road v/hen the car apparently made a left turn Into the path of the bus, officers reported. Both drivers, Mary C. Coffey of PO Box 878, operating a 1972 Ford, and James Calvin Crawford, of S. Oriental Ave., operating a 1970 Ford truck, were treated at Kings Mountain Hospital and McQUl Clinic after a two-car wreck Friday on W. Mountsiln St. According to Ptl. Bill Benton, the Coffey vehicle turned left across traffic and Into the path of the Crawford vehicle. Damages were estimated at $1800. Two cars hit at a stop sign at the Intersection of Chercdcee and Falls St. Friday. Drivers were listed by Ptl. Don Ivey as John D. Shockely, of 834 Second St., operating a 1967 Cadillac, and Chsilmer M. Goins, 601 WUson St., operating a 1972 Hornet. Damages were estimated at $200.
