Oo-hostesses will be Mrs. Helen Yates and Mrs. Gertie Falls. Mrs. Maude Carter, president of Beta Epsilon Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, presided at the April dinner meeting, which was held at the Civic Center in Cherryvllle last Thursday. Upon the arrival the group was served a buffet from tables decorated with spring flowers. Mrs. Jen Williams had charge of the Informative program, "Committed to Delta Kappa Gamma Ideals", which was brought out In emblems and symbols, using two flannel boards to Illustrate these. She was assisted In this part of the program by the Cherryvllle teachers, who are members of the chapter. Mrs. Margaret Baird of Kings Mountain discussed the four types of mem bership Into Delta Kappa The Scholarship com mittee announced to the group that Miss Lisa Mundy of Cherryvllle would receive a scholar ship from the Beta Epsilon Chapter to attend Ap palachian State Univer sity. The Delta Kappa Gamma state meeting la to be held AprU 39-81 at Wilmington and those attending from Kings Mountain wUl Include Mrs. Margaret McGinnis, Mias Oussle Huffstetler, and Mrs. Susie Howard, who Is now director of Region Seven of Eta State Delta Kappa Gamma. Luncheon Plans Set Plans for the Spring I Heart Luncheon and Fashion Show In Gastonia | are weU underway. The show will foUow the theme, “Mood and Modes of May,” and wlU be held on Tuesday, May' 8, at 11:80a. m. at Southampton Racquet Club. M^ Frances Forrester and Susanne Albright are co-chairmen for the event and all proceeds will benefit the 1977 Heart Fund. Tickets must be pur chased In advance and can be obtained from Judy Jarman, 867-3936, or purchased at The Heart House, South Street, Gastonia, or The Vogue In Gastonia. Tickets are $6 each. Decoupage Class Set Mrs. Mary Allen, at 710 York Rd., Is conducting tree decoupage classes at her home on Thursday evenings from 7 until 9 p. m. The course will be conducted for six weeks and all materials are available from Mrs. Allen. Revival Services Revival services are scheduled at Victory Bap tist Church April 17-38 at 7:80 each evening. Scouts Aid At Easter Boy Scout Troop 91 members directed traffic and distributed programs at Sunday’s Ehuter Sunrise Service which drew large crowds of worshipers to Memorial Park of Mountain Rest Cemetery. The troop members, under the leadership 'of Tommy King and O’Brien Brooks, arrived at the cemetery grounds at 6:80 a. m.
