Gaston Day Spring Ring Set
Gaston Day School will
have their Ninth Annual
Spring Fling Saturday at
the school on Airport Road
In Gastonia from 10 a. m.
until 2 p. m.
Every year when
projects come under
dlacusslon at the Mother’s
Association meeting, It Is
decided that the Annual
Spring Fling Is too suc
cessful to be replaced with
a better Idea. The many
friends, students, and
parents who attend have so
much fun participating
and It is by far the moat In
volved event of the year at
Gaston Day School. Many
people attend and leave at
the end of. the day with
Christmas gifts to tuck
away until December and
with gifts for other special
occasions.
The Boutique Ex-
travaganza this year will
include screen-printed
quilted handbags, aprons
(men’s and women’s),
pillows to suit everyone’s
delight, (even floor
pillows), oil paintings,
children’s overnight bags,
patchwork tennis racquet
covers, tennis racquet
bags and many other
children’s Items. There
will be a lovely array of
placemats and napkins,
decoupage key chains and
tole plaques. Teen-agers
and their Mothers will love
the wrap-a-round skirts
and embroidered T-shirts.

interesting games and
competitions. In most of
the games, a prize will be
won every time. Some of
the games sponsored by
the different grade levels
are; fish pond, sand box
dig, balloon darts, penny
pitch, toss-a-croBs, cake
walk, bingo, bang the old
car, shooting gallery, ping
pong, and big wheel race.

also. Tills year's chefs plan
on serving lots of hot dogs,
barbeque, and chill with
soft drinks or coffee.

the potted plants, bedding
plants, and hanging

house. As usual, we will be
