BAKED UVER WITH APPLES 1 pound beef liver, sliced 3 medium apples, chopped 1 medium onion, chopped 1V4 teaspoons salt H teaq>oon pepper 6 slices bacon, cut Into pieces 14 cup chopped olives M cup chopped plmlento cup chopped onion % cup chopped green pepper 3 eggs beaten 1 teaspoon salt Dash hot pepper wuce 1 cup cracker crumbs Combine com, olives, plmlento, onion and green pepper with egga and AM eraehsr crumbs, mix thoroughly and pour into a greawd two quart baking dish. Bake at 860 for 80 minutes. Yield: eight servings. oOo SQUASH DEUOHT 1 pound squash 1 large onion, grated 1 ciq> shredded Cheddar eteeM M cup cream 3 tablespoons butter or margarine 1 CSS, beaten Dash ground nutmeg Sfdt Sind pepper to taste V4 cup cracker crumbs Paprika Oook squash and onion In a small amount of salted water; drain. Add cheew, cream, butter, egg, nut meg, salt and pepper. Mix well. Pour Into a buttered casserole dish. Top with cracker crumbs and paprika.
