Little Theatre Party Is Held Sat., June 11, Grier Haven, Lake Montonla, Kings Mountain, was filled with friendly chatter, music, laughter and fun as more than 78 guests honored the Kings Mountain Little TTieater. As guests heaped plates ITom a table on an upper terrace, Richard Dedmon, actor and author of childrens books, enter tained cm the patio below with a medley of A1 Jolson songs. Accepting the gift for the UtUe TTieater was Mrs. Aubrey Mauney, president of the theater. On the patio, dancers bumped and hustled beneath the glow of a Traffic Signal Light, to the music of the Top Forty from Grier’s private juke box. Among thoee attending were Sen. OUle Harris, PoUce Chief Earl Uoyd Euid Mrs. Llqyd, and Kings Mountains new Public Works Supt., Ed Dwyer. Also in Edtendance were mEUiy patrons, workers and friends of the Little Theater. In it’s eighth year of revltEdizatlon, the Kings Mountain Little TTieater Invites citizen Interest, participation, Euid support. Checks may be msdled to Little Theater, Joe Ann McDmiiel. The city has contracted for the sixth ccnsecuttve year wlfii A. M. Pullen Co. to handle the annual audit. Joe Augburn, Pullen representative, was on hEUid Monday night to solicit the audit account. Augbum has personally woriced the Kings Moun tain audit since IBM. Beury Jenkins, CPA of Kings Mountain, was the only other bidder tor the audit business. Jenkins quoted the dty a price of $18 per hotir luid expenses. The Pullen fee was $16 per hour and expenses.
