Holly 7-7. Mike Edwards scored on a 40 yard run In the second period for the only TD for the Junior midgets. The Junior midgets moved the ball almost at will against Shelby’s defense, but fumbles kept bogging down their attack. The Little Moun taineers never punted or lost the ball on downs but turned the ball over six times. Coach Charlie Bums cited William Short and Roy Mathis, who made several game-saving tackles on long runs, tor their defensive play.
