Ihe PatrioU jumped ahead 80 in the first period when Tkn Bell scored from 15 yards out on a counter if ay and Tony Boyce ran for a two-point conversion. Crest scored following a fumble recovery in the second period to cut the score to 84 at halftime but KM put the game on ice in the third quarter when Chris Wright scared on a nine yard run. “We were exceptionally pfoaaed with the play oa both offense and defenne," noted Coech Joe Speight. "Crart had a large, atrong baUclub and we feet real fotunate that we beat them.” WriMit led the KM rushing wkb 125 yards and Boyce added 65. KM had 3(M yards total offense, marking the second straight week the Patriots went over the 300 mark. Crest had 156. Cheryl Goode copped two first places Tueaday, winning tha 880 run and 440 run. Diane Wllllama copped the long jump and Goode, Debbie White- sides and Wanda Witherspoon were 1-2-8 In the 440. Pam Baity and Linda Stowe tied two Great runners for first and second In the 100 yard dash. Goode picked up a third place In the high jump, Whltealdee was third In the hurdlee and Stowe third In the 50 yard dash. KM was also third In both the 440 and 880 relays.
