Alan Van Dyke meaked over from two yards out and Chiia Wright scored on an 80 yard run In the first period of Thursdsy’s game here. Jeff Llneberger ran for the two-point conver sion following Wright’s TD to give the Pats a 14-0 luJf- tlme lead. College Park scored Its only TD with 47 seconds left In the ballgame. D lLI)- ’Die Jayvees got two' touchdowns from Todd Bell and one each from Doug Wright and Demetrius Goode as they held on to their second place standing behind un beaten (6-0) Burns. Bell scored on a 76 yard kickoff return and a five yard run, Wright ran one In from 40 yards out and Goode scored on a 48 yard pass from Brent Bell. Todd Bell and Wright each ran for a two-point conversnlon. Ooach David Hart cited Carlos Owens, Avery Brier, Eric Borchert and ’Travis Bell for their defen sive play. 'The big play was a 88 yard pass from Shepherd to Mitch Painter which gave the Raiders a first and goal at the KM eight. The victory was South Point’s ninth in the last 12 meetings with the Mountaineers. ’The Raiders romped for 440 yards total of fense, including 303 on the ground and 137 through the air on six pass completions in eight attempts. Grier led the ground SLSsault with 129 yards in 14 carries, Davis added 96 in 20 tries and Shepherdf had 47 in eight carries. 'The game’s leading rusher was KM’s Bell, who picked up 133 yards in 13 carries. The Raider defense, however, shut off the rest of KM’s ground attack, holding fullback Robinson to only 22 yards in six carries and HaU to just 16 yards in 10 running attempts.
