Kathy Is granddaughter
of Mrs. Ivle Smith of Kings
Mountain and Miles Wilson
of Mount Holly. She Is a
Kindergarten student at
Bethware School.

Tribute To A
I
Father-In-Law
I have read about a
tribute to most everyone
and everything, but never
an In-law. Most people,
when talking about their
In-laws, do not have good
things to say about them.
All I can say about mine
are good things.
I have had the pleasure
of having the best In-laws
In the world for the past
26 years. I don’t think I will
have too much argument
from anyone that knows
my In-laws.
On Friday, Oct. 14, my
father-in-law, Grier Sipes,
passed away. This was a
very sad day In my life, but
knowing the Ufe that Grier
lived, I knew he was with
Jesus. Grier did not go
around saying "I am a
CSulstlan and I go to
clmirch every Sunday”, but
the life he lived, left no
dcxibt In anyone’s mind
that he was a Christian.
In all the years 1 knew
Grier Sipes, I did not ever
hear him talk about a
person or say anything
that might hurt them In
any way. Grier did have
one little fault that I saw.
When I would do anything
fbr him or drive him
somewhere, he always
tried to pay me. What If
this was the only fault any
of us could see In each
other. Oh, what a won
derful world this would be.
I hope you all can say
and will say good things
about your In-laws. Would
you believe? I still have the
best mother-in-law In the
world.
