' A "Rear end” collision occurred Saturday at 8:46 p. m. on Pulton St. when a $871 Ford operated by ifsry E. Llsk, 311 pomerset Dr., slowing to ^sdce a right turn into a driveway, was struck by a 1972 Chevy operated by Larry Thomas Ooforth, 814 Landing St., who was traveling behind the Llsk car and attempted to psiss, Ptl. J. A. Burton of KMPD estimated damages at $100 to the Gofdrth vehicle and $280 to the Llsk car. Earl Klmmerly, of Syracuse, N. T.. making a left turn onto York Road from 1-86 exit ramp In a 1977 Chevy, was Involved In collision with a 1970 Ford operated by Dannie Lee Littlejohn, Rt. 1, Shelby, according to in vestigating officers. Damages to the left rear fender and lights of the Chevy were estimated at $300. Damages to the front end of the 1970 Ford were estimated at $300. No Injuries reported and drivers were not charged. City police are Investi gating several reports of vandalism occurring during the weekend. Miss Gussle HuffStetler, retired school teacher of 816 N. Pledmwit Ave., reported that sometime Monday vandals carted off $206 worth of flowers and flower pots stored In her garage. The Huffstetler home Is being moved by the state highway department for route of U. S. 74 Bypass. Reported stolen were a 23-year-old antique pottery container, a five feet tall chefflera, a sliver lace begonia crockery pot, a bird bath and 60 miniature Old English boxwood. Sgt. Bob Hayes Is in vestigating. Wayne Worcester, of 319 Chestnut St., reported to KMPD Ptl. R. E. Grind- staff that a skill saw and set of jumper cables were removed from his car which had stalled and was parked at the Intersection of Phenlx and Broad Streets. Estimated loss was $39. gating Ptl. Removed from the 1966 Olds, owned by Billy Gene Bryant, of Rt. 1, Waco Rd., was a black pocketbook containing one man’s gold 'Timex watch, three ladies watches, two Timex and one Bulova, and Elvis Pressley tape. Both vehicles were ransacked, said police. In other law en forcement activities, KMPD answered one vandalism call on Halloween night.
