"Chicken or Turkey Nuggets," "Smoked Egg Dip,;; "Chicken Sticks," "Turkey or Chicken Cheese Balls,” "Chicken or Turkey Dip” and "Spiced Egg Punch” are just some of the recipes thsd will help make your holiday gatherings for Mends and family a “tasty success." Historically, turkey, chicken or eggs have always been "holiday delights” and a part of most Americans' “family tradition.” Dishes like "Chicken or Turkey Nuggets,’’ "Smoked Egg Dip” or "Spiced Egg Punch” are other convenient ways to enjoy poultry products during the holiday season. Tou will certainly want to try these for your parties and family gatherings. And remember, perky party poultry recipes are something that every member of the family will enjoy, says Mrs. Emmie Whitley, Home Economist of the North Carolina Poultry Federation. TURKEYOR CHICKEN NUGGETS 2 lbs. turkey breast, boned and skinned, or 6 whole broiler-fryer chicken breasts, boned and skinned 2 eggs, beaten 1 cup water 1 cup flour S tablespoons sesame seed IH teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon Ac’cent flavor enhancer 1-1^ pints oil cut turkey or chicken pieces Into 1 x IH-plnch nuggets. Mix eggs, and water. Add flour, sesame seed, salt and flavor enhancer to make batter. Heat com oil In fry pan over medium . heat. Dip nuggets Into batter; drain off excess batter. Add nuggets to dl. I Fry turkey nuggets about 10 minutes and chicken nuggets about S minutes, or imtll golden brown and fork can be Inserted with ease. Drain on paper towels. Serve with following sauces. Turkey makes 8 servings (or 40 to 60 pieces. Chicken makes 12 servings (or 70 to 00 pieces). -oOo- Nlppy Pineapple Sauce: In saucepan, mix 1 jar (12 ounces) pineapple preserves, ^ cup prepared mustard and (4 cup prepared horseradish. Heat. Makes 1V4 cups. Dill Sauce; In bowl, mix M cup sour cream, Vi cup mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon dried dUl weed and 2 tablespoons finely chopped dill pickle. Let stand at room temperature for 1 to 2 hours to blend flavors. Makes about % cups. Royalty Sauce: In saucepan, mix 1 cup catsup, Vi teaspoon dry mustard, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 2 tablespoons vinegar, 6 tablespoons Maaola margarine. Mix and cook 4 to 6 minutes, stliTlng constantly. Makes 1 cup. -oOo- SMOKED EGG DIP 8 hard cooked eggs 1 tq>. liquid smoke 1 tap. lemon juice 1 tap. prepared mustard 1 tap.
