That's the word from Dr. Larry Sale, new director of continuing education and summer school at Gard ner-Webb College. The College Is presenting a new series of seminars about how to plan for retirement. The seminars begin January 17 and con tinue each Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p. m. for ten weeks. Social Security personnel and the Gardner-Webb faculty will conduct the course, v^lch offers two continuing education credits (CBU's). Tlie seminars are on topics like; questions and answers about the Social Security programs, pen sion plans; health main tenance and health In surance; taxes, savings and Investments; housing and budgeting; estate planning and wills; owner ship and disposal of real estate; inheritance laws and rights of the spouse; leisure time and future planning. To defray expenses, the cost of the seminars is $10. Those who wish to pre- reglster may send in their names, address, telephone number and a check for $10 made out to Gardner- Webb. Take Over Dudes Kings Mountain Prdice are investigating a breaking and entering at the residence of Susan Goforth and Jane Talbert on Tuesday between the hours of 3 a. m. and 4 p. m. According to police reports, a window was broken to gain entrance and $985 in mer chandise was reported missing. KMPD also reported the larceny of a bicycle, owned by Dwayne Hutto, from Central School, estimated cost $60. Teer Is Oiib Speaker Marvin Teer, senior ccm- mercial loan officer at First Union National Bank, was guest speaker at Tuesday’s meeting of the National Math Chib Chapter. The meeting was held at 3 p. m. at Kings Mountain Senior High. Teer was invited to speak by Kenny Boheler, club president. The topics of the talk covered the types of loans, both consumer and commer cial, available at FUNBank and explanations of com puting interest on 90-day notes and how annual percentage rates are handled.
