Rev, M. L. Schumann and Rev. N. S. Hardin will officiate at the rites and Interment will be In the church cemetery. Mr. McSwain was a teacher at Crest High School, son of Mrs. Terri McSwain of Kings Moun tain and the late Luther McSwain. Sr. He was a member of the board of directors of N. C. Council of Social Studies and a veteran of service during the Korean War. Surviving, In addition to his mother, are his wife, Mrs. Margaret (Jackie) Bennett McSwain; one daughter, Jacquelyn McSwain; one son, William A. McSwain, Jr., both of Kings Mountain, one brother, Luther R. McSwain. Jr. of Kings Mountain; and two sisters, Mrs. Euzella VoUbracht of Kings Mountain and Mrs. TTieresa Holt of Virginia Beach, Va. MARIE QUEEN Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Montgomery Queen, 71, of 610 Meadowbrook Rd., were conducted Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock from Saint Matthew's Lutheran Church of which she was a member. Her pastor. Dr. L. Olenn Clonlnger, officiated at the rites and Interment was In St. Luke's Cemetery. Mrs. Queen died Friday night In Kings Mountain Hospital after Illness of several months. Widow of WUham Alexander Queen, she was daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James William Mon tgomery. She was a member of Otis D. Green Unit 166 American Legion Auxiliary and Frank B. Glass Unit 6811 VFW Auxiliary. Surviving are her son, Floyd Queen of Kings Mountain; her brother. She was daughter of Mrs. Sallle Edens of Kings Mountain and the late Christopher Columbus Edens and a member of Bast Side Baptist Church of Shelby. Surviving, In addition to her husband and mother, are one son, Billy Hawkins of Shelby; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Weatherford and Miss Cathy Hawkins of Shelby; three brothers, Howard Edens of Golden, Col., C. C. Edens, Jr. of Mount Holly and Robert H. Edens of Fort Bragg; two sisters. Miss Frances Edens and Miss Noaml Edens, both of Kings Mountain; and two grandchildren.
