Mr. McSwain was a
teacher at Crest High
School, son of Mrs. Terri
McSwain of Kings Moun
tain and the late Luther
McSwain. Sr. He was a
member of the board of
directors of N. C. Council
of Social Studies and a
veteran of service during
the Korean War.
Surviving, In addition to
his mother, are his wife,
Mrs. Margaret (Jackie)
Bennett McSwain; one
daughter, Jacquelyn
McSwain; one son,
William A. McSwain, Jr.,
both of Kings Mountain,
one brother, Luther R.
McSwain. Jr. of Kings
Mountain; and two sisters,
Mrs. Euzella VoUbracht of
Kings Mountain and Mrs.
TTieresa Holt of Virginia
