Page 2B—MIRROR-HBRAL1D—Thursday, March 80, 1978 Baileys Are Married In Cary Ceremony Greenwood Forest Bi^tlst Church of Cary provided the setting Satur day for a 3 p. m. wedding uniting Mias Rita Darlene Reese of Bessemer City and Dr. Charles Stephen Bailey of Kings Mountain. Rev. Luther O. Brewer officiated at the double- rtng ceremony. Mrs. Gary T. McAlphin was organist for the pro gram of nuptial music and Gerald Haas was vocal soloist. Mr. Haas sang “Wedding Song” before the exchange at vows and ‘Wedding Prayer” as the couple knelt at the altar for the benediction. The church was decorated with four nlne- branch candelabras with fresh foliage and palms banking the setting and a central focal point of whiter flowers Inter spersed with spring flowers. Dr. Richard S. Reese escorted his daughter to the altar and gave her In marriage. The bride’s gown WM a formal design of white Qlana knit, fashioned with Victorian neckline, fitted empire bodice and long Bishop sleeves. A deep V yoke of Brussels and Venlae Uuse with seed pearl em broidery adorned the fitted bodice and accented the empire waistline. The Bishop sleeves were enhanced by an insert of matching lace and pearls with a deep cuff and lace trim at the wrist. The full A-llne skirt draped softly to floor-length with a border of matching lace at the hemline that flowed into a full, Chapel train. The long veil of silk illusion was framed with matching Venise lace and attached to a Juliet cap of lace and pearls. She carried a cascade of yellow rosea and stephanotls. Miss Sherrie Kaye Reese of Cary was her sister’s maid of honor and bridesmaids were Miss BUlen Reese of Cary, sister of ttie bride; Mrs. Gerald Haas of ZlonvUle, cousin of the bride; Miss Susan Ingram of Cary; Mrs. Lynn Beavers of Raleigh; Miss Pam Keaton of Wilson and Miss Wanda King of Asheville. All the attendants wore floor-length gowns of yellow polyester and yellow chiffon, the msild enhancing her dress with yellow wlde-brlmmed hat with mixed q;>ring flowers around the crown mat ching the spring bouquet she carried. Bridesmaids wore yellow chiffon capes MRS. CHARLES STEPHEN BAHET (Rita Darlene Reese) which tapped their dresses and carried nosegays of mixed spring flowers. Richard Bailey of Charleston, West Virginia, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Allen Rada of Giarleston, West Vlrglrda; Buddy Herron, Mile Tatum, both of Kings Mbimtaln; CUnt Reese, Jr. at Cary, cousin of the bride; James T. Piper, Jr. of Raleigh, imcle of die bride; and Jack Walton of MorrlsvUle. Reese of Cary are parents of the bride who Is a 1977' grsuluate of Appalachian State University. She is a member of the faculty of Kings Mountain Junior High School. The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles S. Bailey of Charleston, West Virginia, Is a graduate of the University of West Virginia Dental School and Marshall University.
