Since the first day of classes is scheduled for Monday, April 8, the curriculum d^>artment has agreed to keep registration open untU that time. Using the self-paced Individualized Instruction concept In some of the vocational courses, It Is now {H-actlcal and logical for students to begin at any quarter. The individual enrolling can take In dividual vocational courses at any time (day or night schedule). The vocational courses auto mechanics, auto body repair, air conditioning and refrigeration, elec trical Installation and maintenance, and welding are open tor new students. Most of the technical courses are open and persons Interested In general education are advised to begin their program at any given quarter. A unique feature of the N. C. Shelby Art League Plans Series Of Talks On Antiques The Shelby Art League will sponsor a series .of talks on American An tiques In April. Ruth Scott of Charlotte, an expert In this field, will be the speaker. Mrs. Scott has taught a class In Antiques and Antique Fumlahings at the Mint Museum In Charlotte tor the last five years. She has also taught or lectured at Queens and Central Piedmont Community College.
