ENGAGED — The engagement of Mlse Jonl Klein
and William Jeffrey Ruddock Is announced by the
bride-to-be’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor J. Klein of
Haysvllle, Kansas. Mr. Ruddock la son of Colonel and
Mrs. William Ruddock of Wichita, Kansas. Mrs.
Ruddock, the former Jacqueline Falls of Kings
Mountain, Is daughter of Mrs. Clement J. Holtschulte.
Colonel Ruddock Is the nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Paul
Mauney. Both families are of Kings Mountain. The
wedding will be an event of Sat., June 17th, In St.
Cecelia Catholic Church of Haysvllle, Kansas.
PATRICIA ANN WHETSTINE
ENGAGED — Mr. and Mrs. Johnny William Whet-
stlne of Kings Mountain announce the engagement of
their daughter. Patricia Ann. to Danny Russell Gray of
Uncolnton, son of Gerbert Gray and Mrs. Bobby
Robinson. The bride-to-be Is a 1977 graduate of Kings
Mountain Senior High School where she completed a
course In cosmetology. She Is employed by Scissors and
Styles Beauty Salon In Kings Mountain. The
brldegroom-to-be Is a 1977 graduate of Bessemer City
High School and Is employed by Reeves Brothers, Inc.
Osage Division In Bessemer City. The wedding will take
place Aug. I9th at 2 p. m. In Kings Mountain’s
Macedonia Baptist Church.

with a morning Coca-Cola
party Sat., May 13th.

Guests were greeted at
the front door and Invited

party pick-ups. The en
trance hall, living and
dining rooms were deco
rated with mixed spring
flowers and refreshments
were served from rattan
baskets and wooden trays.

through the den to the
screened porch where

with hanging baskets,
geraniums and various
other plants.
The hostesses presented
a corsage of Troplcana
roses to Miss Yarbro who
wore a party dress of blue
and white. 'The honoree
was remembered with a
gift of sliver In her chosen
pattern.
Forty friends of the
bride-elect called between
the hours of 11 a. m. and 1
p. m.
