Page 6B—MIRROR-HERALD—Thursday, June 18, 1978 PACC Set For The Fair An attractloh using the talents of Cleveland County will be featured at the Cleveland County Fair, Frl., Sept. 39 through Sat., Oct. 7. This attraction Is called the Performing Arts of Cleveland County (PACC). PACC Is an effort to coordinate the drama, dance, and musical talents of the people of Cleveland County for presentation during the time of the fair. PACC Is free to all persons attending the fair. Plans are to schedule entertainment each day of the fair. Individuals and groups of all ages are to be scheduled. The scheduling Includes performances on Sunday ^om 3 to 8 p. m., on Saturday from 3 to 10 p. m., and on Monday through Friday from 6 to 10 p. m. Certain dates and times will be designated for similar type per formances, such as church choirs or religious groups Sunday 3 to 8 p. m. Ihe Public Information Office of Cleveland Tech will handle the scheduling of performing Individuals and groups. Contact CCTI and schedule a time to per^t form Monday through Thusday, from 8 a. m. to 9:80 p. m., and Friday from 8 a. m. to 4 p. m., 483- 8381. Holmes Conducts Revival EvangeUst Jim Holmes will begin a series of re vival services June 14-38 at Kings Mountali# CSiurch of Ood on Parker Street and services will be at 7 p. m. each evening. A native of Kings Bflountaln, Rev. Holmes has recently returned to Kings Mountsdn to begin full-time evangelistic work. He formerly pastored a church In Detroit, Michigan and formerly was a truck driver for BVD Sportswear for five years. ( He is married to the former Nancy BoUn of the Dixon Community and they have one son, lO-year- old Tim Holmes. Rev. Mr. Holmes has recently conducted crusades In Oklahoma, California and Oregon. He says he Is a "Pentecostal preacher who believes In healing" and Invites all denominations to worship in the series of special services. | Rev. Harold Douglas Is pastor of the Church of God. Degree ftobln K. Lane, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard C. Lane of Kings Mountain, was recently graduated from the College of Pharmacy of the Medical University of South Caro lina at Charleston, S. C. She la a graduate of MyrUe Beach High School and the University of South ChroUna. While at Medical University, Miss lane was prealdont of the student body, was listed In Who’s Who In American OoUegea and Unlversldos, sind was a member of Lambda Kappa Sigma.
