She carried a white Bible given to her by her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Bertha Singletary, on her sixth birthday. Two white or chids topped the Bible. Frye, Mrs. Mary Louise Cbwdrlck and Mrs. Doug las Hammond served punch. Mrs. E. A. Welsh, Mrs. Tom McGulrt, Mrs. Henry N. REHEARSAL PARTY The home of Mrs. Harvey Carrell In Rowland was the setting for the after-rehearsal party at tended by members of the wedding party, out-of-town guests and other friends on Friday evening. Hosts and hostesses with the bride’s maternal grandmother were Mr. and Mrs. James R. Pate, Mr. and Mrs. J. Mack Butler Mr. and Mrs. C. Paul Smith, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Burns. Mrs. Ckrrell received with the bridal couple In the hiring room. ’Ilie home was decorated throughout with arrange ments of roses, snap dragons, and dsiisles. In the entry on a stand was a silver basket of yeUow flowers, while pink roses formed bouquets In the haUway and hiring room. TVopicana roses graced a tea table. Party dehcacles were served from the dining table, which was overlaid with a white embroidered linen and lace cloth. Its centerpiece fashioned of pink roses, snapdragons, and gypsophlha In a shver candelabrum. Punch was poured from a bowl en circled by roses on a separate table covered with a Maderla cutwork cloth. Assisting the hostesses In serving were Mrs. Robert Hedgepeth and Misses Elanor McKellar and Ruth McNeUl. TTie gift to the bridal couple was a shver tray, and Laura Beth was presented a wrist corsage of baby gardenias to complement her party dress. WEDDING BREAKFAST Entertaining at the wedding breakfast Saturday morning In the dining room of Southern National Bank were Mrs. Douglas Hammond, Mrs. Henry N. McKellar, Mrs. Robert E. Along the sides were bouquet of daisies. The breakfast was served buffet style.
