Coach David Brinkley’s charges led throughout the contest behind the com bined 41-polnt scoring of Wayne Brown and Paul Ingram. Brown hit for 36 points and Ingram 15. Kings Mountain streaked to a 81-lB halftime margin and maintained a sUeable lead throughout the final two periods. ”We played a real fine ballgame,” said Brinkley. “They were real big. But I told our players before the game that I felt like If we controlled the boards we could win.
