S. customary weights and measures to decimal- based metrics becomes the professional secretary's responsibility to leant and master. Secretaries are going to have to think metric and write metric fluently and accurately. "Domestic use of the metric system requires basic adjustments In office methods and procedures. This Involves different terminology for letter Jar- gins, paper and envelope sixes, and type faces. Even that old familiar desk standby, the three hole punch, will be replaced by a four hole punch."
