LOIS CAMP Funeral service! for Mrs. Lois Lee NesU Camp, 78, of Rt.2, were conducted Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Patterson Springs Baptist Church by the Rev. Harvey Beeler, Rev. Russell Fitts and Rev. Samuel Murphy and Interment wsm In the church cemetery. Mrs. Camp died at her home Monday afternoon. She was a native of Cleveland County, a retired employe of Baxter Corporation and a Sunday School teacher at Pat terson Springs Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late A.Lee and Ethel Jane Putnam Neal and the widow of Thomas Rollins Camp. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Willis Harmon of Kings Moun tain; one sister, Mrs. LE. Hamrick of Hartsvllle, S.C.; and three grand children. Palmer Mortuary was In charge of arrangements. Carpenter St. Contest Rides Set For Spring In Shelby Contest rules have been announced for the 1979 "Spring In Shelby Art Show’ ’ to be held Sat., Apr. 7, on the old courtaquare, if weather permits, or In the Cleveland Tech annex (old postofflce) In the event of rain. As in the past, the show Is an annual, county-wide event open to all residents of all ages In a variety of art categories. Entries will be judged and ribbons will be awsu-ded for first, second, and third places and honorable mention In each category. Student art may be submitted on Thurs., Apr. 5, from 8:80 until 0 p.m. at Cleveland Tech Annex on Washington St. In Shelby. Student art and all other art may be submitted from 6 until 9 p.m. tliurs., Apr. S, and on Fri., Apr. 6, from 6 until 9 p.m. All art should be picked up at 4 p.m. the day of the show. All entries should be suitably mounted, or framed for display. Each entry must bear the ar tist’s name, address, school and category. Bhitiies are limited to five per person. Roy Goodman, 68, of Rt.3, who died Saturday In Clevelsmd Memorial Hospital, were conducted Monday at 3 p.m. at Knobb Creek United Methodist Church by the Rev. Dr. Charles Medlin and Interment was In the church cemetery. Goodman was the father of Mrs. Helen Hoyle of Kings Mountain. Also surviving are his widow; three sons, two stepsons, a daughter, three brothers, three sisters and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
