Performances are scheduled at the Park Grace Auditorium on Apr. 5,6 and 7 at 8 p.m. and Apr. 8 at 2:30 p.m. There is no admission, but an offering will be accepted to benefit the Kings Mountain Ministerial Association Helping Hand Fund. A theatre spokesman said, “Since the auditorium is not very large and the shows are free we suggest advance reservations b'’ made. To make sure you have a seat for a performance, call the First Presbyterian Church office, 739-8072, between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.” “The Robe” was a novel written by Lloyd C. Douglas and became the subject for the first Cinemascope movie in the 1950s. The book has been dramatized for the stage by John McGreevey and the local production is under the direction of Mrs. Aubrey Mauney. -oOo- Gardner-Webb College presents Agatha Christie’s long-running English theatre mystery thriller “The Mousetrap” March 29-31 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $2 for adults and $1 for students at the door of Hamrick Auditorium. A classic murder mystery, the identity of the killer is withheld until the Ub Stewart very last. But armchair detectives who go to view the show will have all the clues the stage detective is provided with, so give it your best shot. -ooo- A mystery has hung over “Angel Street” for 15 years since the death of a young woman and the disappearance of a man. But did the man really disappear? And what are the mysterious occurances taking place on “Angel Street” which are slowly driving another woman insane? These are the questions answered as the Victorian era thriller “Angel Street” unfolds at the Little Tbeatre of Gastonia. The show opens tonight (March 29) at LTG at 8:15 p.m. Other performances are March 30-31 and April 5-7 at 8:15 p.m.and a matinee Sun., April 1 at 2:30 p.m. The cast includes Carol Fry, Charles Barkley and Ennis Atkins. The show is directed by Simon Donaghue. The Little Theatre of (lastonia is iocated on S. □ay St. and reservations can be made by calling 865- 0160. oOo “The Fantasticks” Is scheduled as the final Gaston College seasonal production on April 27-28 and May 4-6 p.m. in Myers Center Auditorium.
