IRENE McMURRAY Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Blackburn McMurray, 60, of Rt. l Grover, wife of E.E. ‘McMurray, were con ducted Friday afternoon at 2 p.nn. from Bethany Baptist Church of which she was a member, in terment following in Grover Cemetery. Her pastor. Rev. James Sanders, will be assisted by Rev. Kenneth Hollifield in officiating at the rites. Mrs. McMurray died Wednesday morning in Charlotte Memorial Hospital after several month's illness. She was an employe of Minette Mills of Grover and daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William L. Blackburn. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are one son, William Robin McMurray of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Peggy Caroll of Blacksburg, S.C. and Mrs. Jane Oaks of Grover; two brothers, Grier Blackburn of Grover and Ed Blackburn of Fort Lauderdale, Fla,; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Sue Camp of Spindale and Mrs. Rebecca Pennington of Blacksburg, S.C. Also surviving are five grand children. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7 until 9 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home. R.A.
