According to Mayor Bill McCarter, the HUD grants are available on a 50-50 matching basis and may be used for a variety (rf local planning activities, such as housing and land use plans, technical assistance, subdivision regulations, annexation studies and others. Center volunteers also provided baked goods and beverages to sell to visitors during the event to add extra money to the fund.
