April 26. 1979 Home Wedding Unites Reynolds-McGill Couple The home of the bridegroom’s parents in Clover, S.C. was setting for die Saturday wedding of Ann Waring Reynolds and Kenneth Thomson McGill, both of Spartanburg, S.C. The Rev. David Bridgforth, pastor of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Spaiilanburg, S.C., heard the couple exchange vows in the presence of their im mediate families. Blue iris, yellow roses and candles enhanced the setting. Julian C. Reynolds gave Ms daughter in marriage. The bride wore a calf- length gown of vanilla Quiana and apple blossoms in her hair. She carried a cascade bouquet of yellow and white roses and blue iris. James William McGill of Clover, S.C. was his brother’s best man. Miss Emily Haltchcock, the bride’s cousin, was maid of honor and only attendant. She wore a blue- grey street-length gown and carried a bouquet of daisies. Donald Dunlap Coe, Jr., the bridegroom’s son, was acolyte and Julienne Prentiss Coe, the bride’s daughter, was flowergirl. The bridegroom’s mother choae a creme colored street-length dress with pastel flowers. After the ceremony, the bride’s father entertained at a reception in the home at Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth H. McGill, parents of the bridegroom. The wedding colors were featured in decorative details and refreshments. BRIDE AND BRIDEGROOM Daughter of Julian Crews Reynolds of Macon, Ga. and the late Marian Wilson Reynolds, Mrs. McGill graduated from A.L. Miller Sr. High School, Macon, Ga., and fk'om the University of South Carolina with a B.S. In Psychology. She is presently working on her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. McGill is a social worker for the Charles Lea Center in Spartanburg, S.C. Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth H. McGill of Clover, S.C. and Kings Mountain are parents of the bridegroom who was graduated from the American School of Kinshasa in Zaire, Africa and from Erskine College in Due West, S.C. with B.S. in Chemistry. He is associated with James A. Pierce Enterprises in Spartanburg, S.C. After May 1 the newlyweds will be at home at 102 Carlton Court in Spartanburg, S.C. MRS. KENNETH THOMSON McGILL (Ann Waring Reynolds) Chris Allen Tours England With Band Chris Allen, 15-year-ol(l son of Barbara and Bill’ Allen of Endicott, New York, formerly of Kings Mountain, returned home Monday after an Easter vacation trip with the Union-Endicott High School Band to London, England. Ouis plays drums in the band which performed at the Easter Festival at Milton Keynes University and in concert in Salisbury and Winchester under qmnsorship of IBM Cor poration. The group also attended a concert of the London Symphony Orchestra at Royal Festival Hall and took several days of sightseeing, including the dty of London, Stratford- on-Avon, Win(taor Castle and a cruise on the Thames River. The Union-Endicott Band has performed at half-time festivities at the New England Patriots game in Massachusetts and also at the Buffalo Bill’s game in Buffalo, New York. Ub Ste/vart Chris is grandson of Mr. and Mrs. D. Hunter AUen of Kings Mountain. The Allen family, which also includes a son, David, have resided at Endicott, New York for nine years. They reside at 908 Schuyler St., Endicott, New York.
