Funeral services for James Monroe MoCree, Sr., of Rt. 2 who died Saturday In Kings Mountain Hospital, were conducted Tuesday at 4 p.m. from Long Branch Baptist Church by Rev. M.L. Campbell, Rev. Sloan Murray, Rev. Timothy GkMde, Rev. B.F. Brewer, Rev. R.L. Kilgore and Rev. R.L. Oarvln, Interment following In the church cemetery. Mr. McCree was a native of Chester County, S.C., son of Mr. and Mrs. John McCree. He was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church and a deacon. He Miss Sellers died following In the Saturday night In Kings cemetery. Mountain Convalescent Center after Illness of several years. She was a native of Cleveland County, daughter of the late David W. and and a former school teacher and retired em ploye of Nlesco Mills. She was a leader In the Nur sery Department of the ARP Church for many years. Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Daisy OUes McCree; three sons, James McCree of Kings Mountain, John McCree and Frank Mc Cree, both of Fair Mountain; six daughters, Mrs. Maggie Duncan, Mrs. OUle Lowery, both of Winston Salem, Mrs. Minnie Utsey of New York aty, Mrs. Mary Ooode of Bessemer City, Mrs. Daisy B. wmis of Shelby and Miss Massle McCree of the home; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Timms of Bowling Oreen, S.C.; 80 grand children; 44 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
