Letters Space Was Offered To The Editor: ‘ I wish to address the Gastonia Gazette article of Sunday, June 13, 1982, page 14B “Warming Up, Kings Mountain Exercise Class Bulg- weeks ago. That problem was addressed with the offer of additional space. Sincerely, Ray Hurley. Director Kings Mountain Neighborhood Facility Center. Thanks, Bennett ing at Seams, Needs Space.” The crux of the article was that the in- structor and her students would like city officials to find them another To The Editor: room and that there’s just not enough space in the small room. I realiz- ed this problem a month ago and addressed it in memo form to the in- structor. In that memo which she received and signed for, I offered her class a choice of two additional areas which would double their floor space. Both areas have been used successfully in the past for similar programs. I only wish to set the record straight. There is no reason to be asking for additional space; the offer was made weeks ago and was documented. The offer still remains in effect. The Jadies exercise class is a viable and successful program for the community and much of the success of this program must go to the instructor who has worked I would like to personally thank Bennett Masters for the many small deeds he does for his fellow man. Especially for the use of his van this past weekend for the Kings Mountain Babe Ruth Baseball League. He often stands back and doesn’t take any credit for the many things that he does. I consider him a friend to everyone he meets, especially a very good friend to the Kings Mountain Babe Ruth Baseball League. I just wanted to let him know in a special way that he is a very special per- son. I hope this letter will let him know how much we appreciate all that he does for his community. quite hard in promoting this class and motivating her students. I however do not wish to look delinquent in my responsibilities.
