Boy Scout Council, is pictured above cutting Scout Camp Dedicated Camp: Dedication Ceremonies were held at Piedmont Council’s new Scout Reservation in Rutherford County Tuesday with 400 people in attendance along with 300 Scouts and leaders who were attending camp last week. Tours were pro- vided for guests. Highlighting the camp is the new Leonard Moretz Dining Hall, overlooking the thirty-acre lake. Able to seat and feed over 400 people, the dining hall RN. features a large, well-equipped kitchen that can adequately take care of the cooking needs of the camp. The building is heated for year around use. The Camp Bud Schiele Gateway greets the Scouts and visitors as they enter camp. The gateway was provid- ed in memory of RM. “Bud” Schiele and his wife Lily Hobbs Schiele by friends in Rutherford County. The history of the Piedmont Council Scout Reservation was NEW PASTOR - Rev.
