If one of the ways you
are trying to economize is
- by eating out less often,
take heart. Here’s an idea
for a restaurant-style dinner
for yourself and a guest
at about $2.00 a serving.
Swanson’s Prepared Chicken
in White Wine Sauce will
make you think you are
dining in one of your fa-
vorite bistros. While the
chicken bakes, toss a love-
- ly green salad with a blue
cheese dressing and heat
some. French bread along
with the chicken. Then
splurge on a fancy bakery
dessert or some good ice
cream.
There’s an elegant dinner
for two that won’t leave
your budget feeling glum.
For a penny-wise
treat,
each honey, crunchy pea-
sweet
combine a half-cup
nut butter and non-fat
dry milk. Mix well and
shape into a long narrow
roll. Wrap in wax paper,
chill and slice when firm
into one-inch pieces.
