Jane Lovelace Redmond, Susan Davis Kiser, Gary Kiser. 4th Row - Susan Hill Whetstine, Diane Smith, Sheila Ledbetter Dallas, KMHS Class of 1972 Holds 10-Year Reunion The Kings Mountain High School Class of 1972 held its tenth year reunion Saturday, Ju- ly 31, 1982. The festivities began with a family lunch’ picnic at Lake Crawford. Classmates were able to visit with old friends and their families. The reunion was held at the Kings Mountain Holiday Inn Saturday night beginning at 6:00 p.m. with the Happy Hour Steven Plonk started off the din- ner hour at 7:00 p.m. with a din- ner prayer. The menu included a salad bar, roast beef, fried chicken, green beans, summer potatoes, roll, and peach cobbler. After the dinner hour David Bolin, one of the class’s Vice President, lead in words of welcome and a short period of retrospect for the occasion. Seated at the head table with David were other class officers and their spouses. The class of- ficers present were: Kathryn Owens Blanton, Secretary and Diane Cornwell Russell, Treasurer; Ed Robbs, President; and Danny Rhodes, Vice Presi- dent, were unable to attend. At the conclusion of the program the 133 attending classmates and friends were invited to visit, en- joy the music, and dance. The success of the reunion was greatly due to the hard work of the Reunion Committee. Members of this committee were: Kathryn Owens Blanton, Wayne Blanton, David Bolin, Karla Smith Burnett, Tim Echols, Judy Ware Ford, Rocky Ford, Lynn Bridges Fulton, Deb- bie Porter Goforth, Pam Nicholson Goforth, Danny Hartsoe, Libby Dye Hawkins, Dale Russell, Diane Cornwell Russell, and Gail Huffstetler White.
