daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.C.
Eaves of Route 1, Bessemer Ci-
ty, won the title America’s
Teen Miss North Carolina - an
American’s Miss Scholarship
Pageant held in Charlotte.
Crystal won, along with the ti-
tle, a crown, trophy, banner and
a scholarship. The title entitles
her to an all expense paid trip to
Atlantic City, New Jersey to
compete in the national pageant
held later this year. As America’s
Teen Miss North Carolina,
Crystal has been invited to at-.
tend the Miss America Pageant
while. in Atlantic City as a
special guest.

Computer Course
Due to the increased demand
for computer instruction by
adults in the community,
Cleveland Technical College will
. offer additional classes of EDP
100 - Computer Orientation.

The 16-hour survey
designed for persons interested
in a general approach to
microcomputers, will stress
hands-on experience in the ac-
tual operation of the equipment.
Day and night classes are
scheduled for adults 18 and over.
The night class will meet
February 17, 24, March, 3, and
10 from 6 to 10 p.m. The day
‘class will meet February 18, 25;
March 4, and 11 from 8 a.m. to
12 noon. :
Registration for the night class
will be held Thursday, February
10 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Tech in
Room 818. Day class registra-
tion is scheduled for Friday,
February 11 from 8 to 10 a.m. in
Room 818. :
Enrollment for the Computer
Orientation course will be
limited to 24 in each class. The
fee for the one-<redit course is
$5.25. Anyone 65 and over may

spend the semester in the public
schools and live in communities
near the schools to enable them
to participate in community and
