PAYSOUR Mrs. Edna Harris Paysour, 63, of 806 Cleveland Avenue, died Monday at Kings Mountain Hospital after several months il- Iness. She was the daughter of the late Felix Harris and Mrs. Ollie Allen Harris of Rutherfordton, She was married to the late Carl Franklin Paysour. In addition to her mother, she is survived by three sons, Billy Arrowood of Kings Mountain, David Arrowood of Charlotte and Junior Arrowood of Forest City; two daughter, Mrs. Judy Varnadore of Dallas and Mrs. Frances Baynard of Baltimore; three brothers, John Harris and Sabe Harris, both of Forest City, and Willie Harris of Rutherford- ton; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Lynch of Forest City; 15 grand- children; and six great- grandchildren. Services will be conducted Thursday at 4 p.m. at Kings Mountain Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. John Heath and the Rev. Darrell Alexander. Burial will be in Mountain Rest Cemetery. ROBERT McSKELLEY Robert McSkelley, 73, of Route 5, Kings Mountain; died at noon Tuesday. A native of Gaston County, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James McSkelley and was a retired textile worker. He was a member of Ebenezer Bap- tist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mozell Johnson McSkelley; and one sister, Mrs. Smoller Miller of Dallas. Funeral services will be con- ducted Friday at 4 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church by. the Rev. D.C. Wilson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be taken to the church Thursday afternoon. Youth Jobs Are Available The Mayor’s Summer Youth Jobs Program, entering its 15th year, will conduct interviews Fri- day from 1-5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon and Tues- day from 9-noon and 1-5 p.m. at the Governmental Services Facilities Center. In other action, the board: * Approved a parking plan for Mauney Memorial Libary. * Authorized the purchase of a $5,671.60 mowing machine. * Approved a resolution of ap- preciation to Dr. Kenneth McGill, Presbyterian medical ‘missionary to Zaire. *Approved the following budget amendments: $570,000 decrease in the amount of natural gas purchases; $470,000 decreased charges for utilities; and a $100,000 increase in the amount of transfer to the general fund.
