DAVID ANTHONY SUTTON (Colleen Annette Murray) Murray-Sutton Couple Exchange Marriage Vows Colleen Annette Murray of Charlotte and David Anthony Sutton of Burton, S.C., formerly of Kings Mountain, were united in marriage Saturday at Queen of Apostles Church in Belmont. Father Richard Hanson of- ~ficiated. Rachel Piche, organist, presented a program of wedding usic. The bride is the daughter of r. and Mrs. Roger E. Murray ‘of 230 Kimmswick Road, arlotte. She is a graduate of est Mecklenburg High School ‘and attended Central Piedmont ~ Community College. She is employed by Thurston Motor Lines. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Owens of Burton, S.C., formerly of Kings Mountain. He is a graduate of Kings Mountain High School and is a veteran of the U.S. Ar- my. He is employed by USG Construction. Roger E. Murray gave his daughter in marriage. Terry Auten was Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Sonya Brad- shaw of Alexis and Candace Homesley and Kelly Homesley, both of Stanley. Patricia Owens was flower girl. Charles Owens was his son’s. best man. Ushers were Doug Sutton of Grover, and Byron Murray and Billy Wyatt, both of Charlotte. BOBBY RAY HORNE (Susan Renee Foreman) Hornes Exchange Vows At KM First Wesleyan Susan Renee Foreman and Bobby Ray Horne exchanged their wedding vows Saturday at First Wesleyan Church in Kings Mountain. Rev. Harry Queen, pastor of Concord United Methodist Church in Bessemer City, of- ficiated. Tracy Bolin, pianist and soloist, Macie Jenkins, organist, and Mr. and Mrs. Doug Lawing, vocalists, presented a program of wedding music. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lewis Foreman of Route 2, Bessemer City. She is a graduate of Bessemer City High School, where she was in the Beta Club, Spanish Club, Monogram Club, Art Club, Honor Society, Science Club, was a varsity cheerleader, Beta Club Queen, : Who and listed in Who's Among American High School Students. Rev. Gerald Weeks, pastor of Resurrection Lutheran Church of Kings Mountain, officiated. A program of wedding music was provided by the Tommy Nations Band. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Ms. Edward Stowe Devenney of 201 North Rox ford Road, Kings Mountain. She is a 1975 graduate of Kings Moun- “tain” High = School! ‘She 'was™ employed for five years by the Eaton Corporation and for six months by Bee Gee Designs in Shelby. The bridegroom is the son of MRS. DAVID YATES MAUNEY Mrs. Edna M. Ledford and Alvin J. Ledford, both of Gastonia. He is a 1965 graduate of Hunter Huss High School in Gastonia and is a self-employed electrician. The bride was given in mar- riage by her father. Her sister, Lynn D. Jackson, was her Matron of Honor and only at- tendant. Her niece, Valerie Ann Jackson was flower girl and her niece, Lori Danielle Jackson, at- tended the guest register. Rev. J.C. Goare, pastor, of- ficiated. Pre-nuptial music was provided by Mrs. Edie Bridges, organist, Miss Anne Hord, flutist, and Mrs. Kathryn Blan- ton, vocalist. The bride is the daughter of Jack and Dorcas White of 218 Edgemont Drive, Kings Moun- tain. She is a graduate of Kings Mountain Senior High School, attended Gaston College and graduated from UNC-Charlotte with a degree in Sociology. She was presented at the Shelby Debutante Ball. The groom is the son of Y ates and Hilda Mauney of Route 2, Cherryville. He is a graduate of Cherryville High School and at- tended Gaston College. He is employed by the Cherryville Electric Company. Dr. Joel P. Jenkins Jr. of- ficiated. A program of wedding music was presented by Mrs. Broadus Elam, organist, and Mr. and Mrs. Tommy P. Bridges Jr., brother and sister-in-law of the bride. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy P. Bridges Sr. of P.O. Box 957, Kings Mountain. She is a 1978 graduate of Kings Mountain High School and a 1982 Cum Laude graduate of Gardner- Webb College with ‘a B.S. in Management Information Systems. She is employed by the City of Gastonia as Information Systems Specialist. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Paul Bridges of Shelby and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wilson of Fallston. . The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul H. Bolt Sr. of 3414 Oakcrest Drive, Shelby. He is a 1979 graduate of Burns High School and is currently a senior Physical Education major at Gardner-Webb College. He is employed by Bridges Auto Parts of Kings Mountain. He is the grandson of Mrs. Mary Brown of Cherryville. Tommy P. Bridges gave his daughter in marriage. She chose her sister, Mrs. Chris (Cindy) Tindall of Kings Mountain as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Jerry (Joyce) White, sister of the groom of Newton, Mrs. Roger (Teresa) Wray and Mrs. Mike (Susan) Briggs, sisters of the groom from Shelby, Miss Deborah Hayes of Charlotte, Miss Rhonda Sprinkle of Altamonte Springs, Fla., and Miss Debbie Lawrence of Virginia Beach. Miss Fran Mason, cousin of the groom of Enoree, S.C., was flower girl. Todd White, newphew of the groom of Newton, was ring bearer. Paul H. Bolt Sr. was his son’s best man. The bride’s parents hosted a reception following the wedding in the First Baptist Church fellowship hall. ] Following a wedding trip to Charleston, S.C., the couple will reside in Kings Mountain.
