She his the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Eula Ledford of Kings Mountain and the late Clarence T. Led- ford. She is a 1983 graduate of Kings Mountain High School and is employed in the emergen- cy room at Kings Mountain Hospital. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James White of Kings Mountain, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Cook of Shelby and Mrs. Mary Lee White and the late Milford White. He is a 1979 graduate of Kings Mountain High School and is employed by Duke Power Brodnax Couple Speak Vows First Wesleyan Church in Kings Mountain was the setting for the August 20 wedding of Kathy Mae Stamey and Dr. Scott Walter Brodnax. Chili Challenge Scheduled Attention chili cookers. The Coors Chili Challenge and the Gastonia Gazette York Chester Road Race is coming up. The reward is $600 in cash prizes. She carried a bouquet of white lavender silk flowers and lavender streamers of satin ribbon. She chose her sister, Miss Deborah Wells, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Tim Spicer, cousin of the bride, Mrs. Mary Ann Barrett, sister of the groom, and Mrs. Debbie McAbee. The bride’s cousin, Brett Wells, was the ringbearer.
