Section 10-6 of the city codes of ordinances states: { “It shall be unlawful for any - person to throw, drop, cast or . deposit upon any street, alley, . sidewalk or any yard or © premises, public or private, any place upon its premises in a con- spicuous place or places in close proximity to the receptacle or receptacles above referred to, a sign or signs which shall, in essence, convey to its customers a request that they use such receptacles for the disposal of waste material.” Section 10-8 of the codes states: “It shall be unlawful for any customer going upon the premises of another to in any manner dispose of wastepaper, wrapping paper, paper napkins, cartons, package containers, and other used or waste materials ex- cept in receptacles provided for such purposes.” North School PTA Sets Meeting North School will have their . first P.T.A. meeting of the 1983-84 school year on Thurs- day, September 15, at 7:00 p.m. This will be an Open House and will give parents a chance to meet their children’s teachers. Refreshments will be served. All parents are encouraged to at- tend. Officers for the 1983-1984 school year are: President, Annie Thombs; Vice-President, Marlene Reynolds; Secretary, Linda Paul; and Treasurer, Elizabeth McAbee.
