The Conti- nuing Education Division at Gaston College is offering a number of special interest courses. Interested students may register at the first class session. The following classes will be held at Gaston College: First Aid will be held on Monday and Wednes- day, October 10 and 12, 7:00 at 10:00 p.m. in room T-159. First Responder (an EMT course for first responders to the scene of an accident or crisis, giving basic training until a certified EMT or doctor arrives) will be held on Wednesday, October 12 through December 14, 6:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. in room T-159. CPR will meet on Mondays and Wednesday, October 17 through October 26 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in room T-159. Computer Programming Basic Language will meet on Monday, October 10 through January 30 and Tuesday, October 11 through January 31, 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m: at South Point High School in Belmont. The two times | refused to vote were on re-zoning matters in which | was indirectly involved, and so | refused to vote on the final presentation of these items. | feel that the eight years of experiences that | have as your District | Commissioner, will help guide the future of this city in order to make it a better place to live and raise our children and grandchildren. If re-elected by you the voters, | can pledge to you that | will try and fulfill my respon- sibilities as your District | Commissioner during the next four years, as | have tried to do during the past eight years. As election day is only a few days away, | find that it will be impossible for me to see and talk with every voter of this city. | have chosen this newspaper ad to ask you the voters for your vote and support in the October 11th election.
