The continu- ing Education Division of Gaston College will: sponsor three Computer Programming Basic Language Courses. The classes will be conducte at South Point High School in Belmont on Mondays from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., October 10 through January 30 and on Tuesday, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Oc- tober 11 through January 31. The basic language course will be held at North Gaston High School in Dallas on Mondays from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on October 10 through January 30. The third location is Hunter Huss High School. The basic language course will be con- ducted on Mondays from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on October 10 through January 30 and on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on October 11 through January 31. In all locations, if the classes Computer Courses Set are filled, new sections may be added if necessary. There are thirty contact hours for the course and credits of three CEU’. Registration will be held at the first class session. The cost is $10.00 for the class and a tex- tbook from the Radio Shack may be required. Third Quarter Huffstetler kicked to the KM 25 to Plott who came back 12 yards (Carpenter). Kimmell made 1 in the line (Sigmon) and Patterson lost a yard (Sigmon). Kimmell made 6 over guard (Wyke) and punted out-of- bounds on the MH 40. Richardson made 2 (Plott and Ruth) but Gantt fumbled, Hud- son recovering for the Moun- taineers on the MH 41. Kimmel made 2 (Couthen and Huffstetler). Kimmell’s pass fell’ incomplete. D. McCarter made 5 (Couthen) on a reverse but fumbled, Huffstetler recovering on the MH 38. Wyke hit tackle for 1 (Hullender) and Richard- son added 1 at ‘left end (Hullender). McManos passed to Abercrombie for 4 (Patterson, on a hard tackle). McManos punted to Kimmell on the KM 20, D. McCarter taking a han- doff for 4 yards (Abercrombie, on a shoe-string). Kimmell passed to Ruth for 16 and a first (Wyke). Kimmell went over right tackle for 4 (Huf- fstetler). Ruth was stopped for minus 1 by the left side of the MH line. Kimmell hit right tackle for 3 (Huffstetler) and - punted to the MH 20, but both sides were called for rules infrac- tions. Kimmell’s punt rolled backward from the MH 20, hit Couthen on the MH 28, R. Davis recovering for KM. Kim- mell hit right tackle for 5 (Davis) as the period ended. Fourth Quarter D. McCarter made 2 (Moore on a reverse and Kimmell made the first down with 4 at right guard (Wyke and Miller). Patter- son hit the line for 4 (Huffstetler) and Ruth bulled through for 6 (Huffstetler) and a measured first on the MH 7. Kimmell went off right tackle for the score and kicked the point after from placement, Ruth holding. Score—KM 14, MH 7. Patterson failed to gain (Miller and Richardson) and Kimmell slip- ped over for the score. Kim- mell’s placement try for point was wide to the left. Score—KM 20, MH 7. K. Davis kicked to the KM 25 to Wyke who came back 11 (Marlowe). McManos fumbled and recovered for a loss but KM took a 5 yard penalty against MH for offsides. McManos passed to his left to Couthen, who lateraled to Wyke for 48 yards (Center Milton HOpe, Jr.). McManos passed to his right to Wyke, who lateraled to Couthen for 11 yards and a first dfown on the KM 10. Batchelor made 5 into the line (Hudson), Wyke 2 at center (R. Davis) and McManos’ pass to Carpenter in the end zone was incomplete (D. McCarter). The center of the KM line held McManos to a yard on a sneak and KM took over on the KM 2 as the game ended.
