noon wedding of Miss Patricia
Lou Herndon and Claude C.
Coleman III.
The Reverand Harwood T.
Smith officiated at the
ceremony.
A string quartet provided
music before the ceremony and a
program of organ music was give
by the organist Mrs. Lawrence
Eugene Hinnant. Stephan An-
drew Mauney was the crucifer.
James Edward Herndon
escorted his daughter to the
altar. The bride’s dress was of
silk taffeta in a period design
with french pleats and silk bows
on the bodice, the full skirt sash-
ed with silk satin, extended into
a cathedral length train. She
wore an antique Brussels lace
veil also cathedral length and
carried a bouquet of lily-of-the-
valley, stephanotis and white
bridal roses with tendrils of
southern smilax.

were her honor attendants.

Mrs. Frances R. Caveny Na-
tional Multiple Sclerosis Society
Chairman for Grover, announc-
ed that the annual MS appeal
will start October 15. Volunteers
will be knocking on doors, to
pick up donations to help fight
MS, the crippler of young adults.
“All of the volunteers will be
carrying an official MS marcher
kit,” said Mrs. Caveny, “and
they will be asking for your sup-
port.” The volunteers helping
are Martha Byers, Rebecca
Callahan, Betty Gardner, Karen
Moss, Vickie Smith and Judy
White.
“We are all going to do our
part to help wipe out MS,” Mrs.
Caveny went on. “I hope
everyone in town will give
generously to conquer this
mysterious crippler.”

SACRED HEART COLLEGE COMPUTER LAB
Sacred Heart College offers a variety of courses to in-
troduce you to the many uses of a small computer. These
courses are introductory and require no previous experience
or knowledge of computers.
These courses are taught in the Computer Lab at Sacred
Heart College. Enrollment is limited to the actual number of
IBM Personal Computers in the lab, so all participants get
their own computer.
All participants get plenty of time to actually use a com-
puter and a friendly instructor to guide them along. The
courses are very reasonably priced and may offer the best
computer educational value available.
