Facilities building, the new City
Hall, where the annual chore of
listing taxes is in full swing.
Taxlisters are reporting that
business is brisk ‘and are en-
couraging citizens to list their
property for taxes during this
month, Mondays through
Fridays, from 8:30 until 5 p.m.
Betty Ballard is Cleveland Coun-
ty tax lister and is assisted by
Marion Carpenter, Jo Ann
Hauser and Ginny Arnette.
There will be no Saturday
listing in Kings Mountain but
tax listers will be in Grover on
Saturday, Jan. 14th and Jan.
28th from 8:30 until 1 p.m. at
Grover Rescue Squad.
Citizens who do not list their
taxes in January will be subject
to peanlties.
