Page 8A-KINGS MOUNTAIN HERALD-Thursday, April 12, 1984 Hullender Team Wins Betty Hullender’s team won four games from Johnny Dye’s team to wrap up the second half championship in the Mixed Duckpin Bowling League Tues- day night at Dilling Heating Lanes. Mrs. Hullender led her cham- pions with a 152 line and 390 set. Dye had a 131 line and 349 set for the losers. In other action, John Dilling rolled a 141 line and 387 set to lead his team to four wins over R.W. Hullender. Hullender had a 113 line and 302 set for the losers. Crawford Team Wins Ethel Tignor won scoring honors in Amazing Grace Duckpin Bowling action Friday night, rolling a 113 line and 301 set to lead her team to three wins over Helen Brackett. Mrs. Brackett led the losers with a 102 line and 280 set. In other action, Betty Crawford’s team won by forfeit over Betty Hullender, Linda Joy had a 104 line and Mrs. Crawford added a 240 set for the winners. Police Report Vandalism Vandalism to automobiles and larcenies of hubcaps headed in- cidents under investigation by Kings Mountain Police Depart- ment. Police Secretary Marti Blan- ton reported these incidents oc- curring during the weekend: Spencer Brown, 301 Wilson Terrace, reported that his bicy- cle, valued at $151, was stolen from his driveway. G & H Enterprises at Land- mark Apartments reported the breaking and entering of a utility building" and the larceny of lawnmower engine valued at $200. Floyd Sanders, 104 McGinnis St., reported theft of auto lift valued at $100. Philip Carpenter, 921 Sterling Drive, reported theft of hubcaps valued at $150. Andrew Loftin, 501 Woodlawn Drive, reported larceny of hubcaps valued at $500. Ronald Gene Crawford, 505 N. Cansler St., reported van- dalism to his automobile. A li- quid poured over the paint resulted in $600 damage. Phyllis Crocker, 407 Crocker Rd., reported larceny of hub- caps, valued at $400. Pat Martin, 1003 Linwood Road, reported vandalism to her jeep. Someone slashed the door doing $100 damage.
