Lynn Anderson Wins VIP Award Lynn Anderson, 10, of Shelby, was recently awarded the Very Important Person of the month for Aprii by the Clevland county Girls Club. She is the daughter of Milton and Nedra Chatelain and is in the fifth grade at Graham School. She received the VIP Award for her willingness to help others in the club. Sharma Mack Girl Of Month Sharma Mack,13,0f Shelby, was the recipient of the Girl of the Month Award from Cleveland County . Girls Club. She is the daughter of Cathy Lawton and is a seventh grader at Shelby Junior High School. Sharma received the award for participating in club activities in- cluding child care, ‘I Like Me’ class, and CAPS class. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. followed by dancing from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m., according to Club Manager Butch Broome. Advance reservations are re- quired for dinner. Tickets for dinner and the dance are $22 per couple. Tickets for the dance on- ly are $10 couple. The menu will include rib-eye steaks with baked potatoes, salad and rolls. Manager Broome encourages those planning to purchase din- ner tickets to get them early from him at the Post Building.
