Cable celebrated their golden wedding day on April 27th. A reception was held April 15th at the Kings Mountain Depot Center. Hosts were the couple’s children, Mrs. Barbara Hawkins of Kings Mountain,Betty Lewis, Glenn Cable and Phyllis Gunn- ing, all of Gastonia. The refreshment table was highlighted with a golden candelabrum filled with yellow daisies, mums and baby’s breath.
