He's pictured here with the trophy he won over all contestants in all age divisions. John is a student at Kings Mountain High, where he competes on the cross-country and track teams. He is the son of Bill and Brenda Foster of 805 Second Street. Tennis Team Wins Kings Mountain High's tennis team defeated Crest 8-1 Friday in a Southwestern 3-A C(Con- ference match. The Mounties lost to South Point 94 Friday afternoon at Lancaster Field and fell to first place East Gaston 10 Tuesday night in Mount Holly: East Gaston, with an 11-2 conference record, and South Point will represent the Eastern Division in the SWC playoffs against Crest and Chase of the Western Division. The overall SWC champion will advance to the State 3-A playoffs.
